PostSubject: Pose from Photo Reference..   Thu Jun 09, 2011 4:20 am

One concept I had for an image last month was to have a character (probably female) moving through a series of laser beams. Somewhat along the lines of the movie thief working his/her way through the 'impossible to break' security system to steal something. I couldn't get what was in my mind's eye onto the screen.

However, as I tried to work the concept, I did create a pose from a reference photo. I googled 'yoga poses' and among the images I found one called "Wild Thing". I duplicated the pose and exported it to a format that can be used and applied to other characters.

Just thought I'd share my efforts. The technique to do this came from a session/discussion at Dream Light on tips and tricks in DAZ Studio which included how to do a thumbnail image. The reference photo is the background for this render.

I will tweak it a bit more as I have 'Pretty Feet' morphs to apply.
